A beautiful day in September brought me to Washington D.C..
Anticipation filled my inner soul. Would this next cafe serve me the best cup I have ever tasted? This was the question I asked of Filter Coffeehouse & Espresso Bar located in the Foggy Bottom area of Washington D.C.
The cafe is located on a busy street corner and it is a small cafe with an industrial vibe with its cement walls and floors.
I ordered a cortado and gazed around at the bright orange colors. The staff was friendly and I immensely enjoyed chatting with them about todays coffee culture.
I took a sip of the cortado. Nice. The ratio of espresso to half & half produced creamy perfection. The presence of Ceremony Coffee was palatable and the quality of the espresso was distinct beyond the creaminess. Delightful!
Will I return, hands down ‘Yes!’.
