Branch Street Coffee ★★★★
Boardman, Ohio is just south of Youngstown Ohio in the eastern part of the state. It was also the location of my husbands job that brought us to this part of the state.
I have had many of you ask how I can travel so much. The answer is that my husband travels for his job, enabling me to tag along and check out the local coffee shops. There are times that I am not able to join him, but I always try to go as much as I can. Recently, when my husband said his job was taking him to eastern Ohio, I jumped! This was really my first opportunity to check out this part of Ohio and what the local coffee scene had to offer.
Branch Street Coffee located in a strip mall, has a classy look to it. Inside you will find a coffee roaster, super friendly baristas and fantastic coffee. The thing I loved most is their passion for the community and you could feel it throughout the cafe. On display and for purchase are unique wooden art pieces crafted by local artisans, along with other locally crafted items.
After ordering my cappuccino, I enjoyed spending some time chatting with baristas CJ and Troy. We talked at length about our mutual coffee passion, the craft and my travels. In my coffeeshop travels, I’ve noticed that many baristas lack friendliness, but that was definitely not the case here. Encountering hospitality and friendly baristas, made this cafe stand out!
Branch Street offers a large menu, in more ways than one, lol. The menu board was one of the largest I have seen! They also feature a nice selection of teas and hot chocolate.
As I left Branch Street, my heart was full. I experienced great coffee, friendly baristas and an engaging chat with fellow coffee enthusiast who just got me, lol. I cant wait to return!
