Cafe Moto
Cafe Moto is one super cool coffee shop with an automotive vibe to it. Located in the Barrio Logan part of San Diego, the black painted building with bright yellow accents is hard to miss.
There is an industrial feel to the place for sure. I walked around, taking in the yellow painted walls, bright red metal chairs and motorcycle posters on the wall – this place is one of a kind. While waiting for my cappuccino, I noticed fresh flowers in coffee mugs. It was a nice contrast to the automotive vibe.
The trip to San Diego was very short notice and I was thrilled when my fellow coffee blogger, Rachel was free to meet! Connecting with other coffee bloggers is the best! They are a wealth of information and helpful when scoping out the best local coffee.
Once Rachel arrived, she gave me the grand tour and little did I know the front part of this coffee shop is the beginning of Cafe Moto! Through a doorway and down a ramp is quite a site! There are vintage derby cars hanging from the ceiling, a fooseball table and a shop full of coffee supplies and goodies!
Cafe Moto roasts their own coffee and services other shops too! The place was just super cool! My cappuccino was great and the conversation was even better – it was great seeing Rachel again!
Cafe Moto is the cool cat of San Diego coffee shops and a place you just need to see yourself! The uniqueness is off the charts, especially when I spot cold brew coffee served in engine oil jugs! LOL Have you ever been to San Diego? It is a beautiful city in so many ways and a place to add to your bucket list for sure!
