Espresso Bar & Cafe ★★★★

A classic, Italian coffee shop is what you will find here. Espresso Bar & Cafe has the perfect lighting and decor to enjoy a relaxing cup of tea or coffee, inside and outside.

Located in the downtown area of Winchester, Virginia known as, “The Walking Mall”, Espresso Bar & Cafe is in a beautiful location, surrounded by local restaurants and shops -  a great place to spend the day!

Walking in, I immediately felt relaxed. The baristas were friendly and knowledgable. I ordered my usual, (cappuccino) with a twist –  “dry”.

COFFEE TIP – A “dry” cappuccino is very little milk with primarily espresso. As I took my first sip, it was very robust and delicious. My husband, who has been to Italy, took a sip and told me it tasted just like the “coffees” he drank while there on business. Personally,  a bit too strong for me  so next time I will stick to old faithful.

I just love atmosphere of this cafe and it is a large cafe, so there is always plenty of seating.  They offer Chemex pour over, along with french press and make their own cold brew.  You will find many options here and seasonal drinks too! The roaster is Ceremony Coffee from Baltimore, MD. -  it is roasted and delivered fresh, weekly.

The owner, Lanita is so friendly and really cares about her community and staff. The baristas are super nice too. They offer soup and honey that is locally made and there is a “Secret Garden” out back, that you just have to see! Lanita’s vision was for you to stay and enjoy your coffee with a friend or loved one and this is the perfect place to do that!

A visit to the Espresso Bar & Cafe is so enriching and worth the walk. When you go, let them know The Cappuccino Traveler sent ya! Go visit this one for sure, you won’t be disappointed!
