Intelligentsia Coffee #37 ★★★★

High Line Hotel, New York City is where I found this coffee treasure and #37 on the list. The place was part of a dimly lit hotel lobby and had the feeling of a bar. It was a very small cafe, but packed quite a punch in class and level of quality coffee. The baristas were knowledgeable and friendly.

While waiting on my pour-over of their special Christmas blend, I stood at the bar, inquiring about the location of their beans, the origins and so on, when another patron joined in and before I knew it, four of us were deep in coffee geek talk and I was loving every minute! This was it! This is where I want every coffee shop visit to end up, a fresh, exquisite cup of coffee and lively coffee conversation! I savored every sip, every moment and hated to leave, but other shops called and my time was short.
