My Favorite “Coffee” Things
August 2018 is the 3rd year anniversary of The Cappuccino Traveler and what a journey it has been!Â
To celebrate the third year of my blog I am hosting a few amazing giveaways and I have started the “What’s Brewing Coffee Club!! All the details can be found here,  Coffee Club
People often ask me about my favorite coffee products……I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to share them with you! I have used and tried many products, but these are my favorites that I use all the time –  highly recommended by me! I know that you will love them too and  I have included easy Amazon links for you! So, (this post contains affiliate links.)
Let’s begin by talking about my first morning cup. I am a huge fan of the Breville Coffee Maker. It’s easy to use and provides a high quality cup of coffee. Â This coffee maker brews FAST and there are many options for the coffee geek too! You can brew coffee at the right water temperature for the V60 or set it to the “Gold Cup” standard. Â If you host events at your home, this coffee maker can brew up to 16 cups! Â The Breville Precision Coffee Maker really has it all and it the best coffee maker that I have ever purchased!

For my afternoon jolt of caffeine, I love an espresso shot with cream served over ice, yummy! The Nespresso Coffee Machine is perfect! You can craft an espresso, cappuccino, lattes and regular coffee, without the barista training! The capsules come in a variety of flavors, such as mocha and caramel.

This past year I upgraded my grinder to a Baratza Encore Grinder. Someone once told me that a grinder can make a huge difference in the taste of your coffee and I have found this to be so true. Investing in a better coffee grinder is worth the splurge!

For pour over coffee, having the right kettle can make a difference. I love the Fellows Stagg +. The water heats up quickly and the weighted, heat resistant handle is a plus. It makes making pour over coffee a breeze!

Speaking of pour over coffee, I must mention the Chemex –Â I love it! Â Although the design can look daunting to beginners, it’s not that hard to learn. Â The flavors that the Chemex coffee maker extracts is unlike any other pour over method! For my husband and I, it is our go to weekend coffee maker.

Cold Brew is something I enjoy, especially if it is slow drip. The Cold Bruer makes slow drip cold brew easy. This is my favorite way to make cold brew.

This past year, I have traveled coast to coast, visiting over 250 local coffee shops and tasted over 100 different roasters. Coffee is a way of life for me and a daily journey. I have met amazing people and loved sharing each moment with you, my readers! As we begin year four, I look forward to it with great, caffeinated anticipation!

Is there a 5 cup regular drip coffee maker you would suggest? I have
one and keep looking at another.
Yes! I had a Bonavita that I used and loved – the shower head for the water is great!
Congrats on 3 years! That is quite an achievement in blogging!!
“Coffee is a way of life for me and a daily journey”. I’ve never been able to put into words why I want to work with coffee as a career, and you just did! Congrats on this huge milestone!
Awww, thanks! Thanks for sharing in this journey with me!
One day, I will get a fancy coffee maker instead of my small drip maker! Lol
It is so worth it!
Great recommendations. I now know what to add to my Christmas list!! Thank you.

– I LOVE my Bonavita coffee brewer and my Encore grinder. â¤ï¸â˜•ï¸â˜•ï¸
Can’t wait to see where year four takes us!…Congratulations!
I also invested in the Baratza coffee grinder this year. It is so much better than getting the run of the “mill” (pun-intended..coffee-mill…get it? 🙂 ) pre ground coffee. I love how it releases the fresh coffee aroma. Congrats on 3 years! Do what you love and you will never work another day!
Awesome! And yes, thats the plan
I’m so excited about the changes you’re making, Crystal! So happy I discovered you on instagram and looking forward to year 4! Chicago is calling!
Thanks to you, I’ve started grinding fresh beans. 🙂 A bur grinder is on my Wish list now.
Very informative article! We LOVE our Cuisinart Grind and Brew. I’ve had it for at least 10 years. The stainless carafe does not reheat, so coffee is fresh all day. a zap in the micro will get it hot. For parties I use my aunt’s vintage drip coffee maker. 32 cups!! AND everyone loves the coffee. The hardest part of that scenario is to find coarse ground coffee. I usually end up getting All purpose, and it works just fine. If I win your giveaway, I want my coffee in BEANS please. I can shut off the grind part and just use ground if my Cuisinart, but I prefer the beans.
Thank you for investing in me and all your subscribers for these three years! Coffee was, well, just coffee before the Cappuccino Traveler showed up!! ?
So I raise my coffee cup to one inspirational gal whose cheery face brightens my day and coffee cues has made my cup of joe better than ever!!! Keep it up girl! ?☕ï¸
