The Exotic Bean Organic Coffee Review

Buying coffee can be overwhelming. So many choices. The thought of trying something new can be scary and then the possibility of not even liking what you paid for.

While all of our palettes are different, after trying hundreds of different coffees over the years, I KNOW good coffee when I taste it.

I had the opportunity to try this organic Thailand coffee from The Exotic Bean at Coffee Fest in Baltimore. I had never experienced coffee from Thailand and I wasn’t sure what to expect. After just a few sips, I just KNEW I had to tell all of you about it! This is my first experience with organic coffee and I am a fan. 

The Exotic Bean was founded when the owners, while visiting Thailand, tried the coffee there. They knew that there was nothing like this back home. Being avid coffee lovers and drinkers, they had a vision to bring back this coffee and share it.

But what is special about “Thailand Coffee”?

Due to the ideal climate these rare coffees have been grown for centuries in Thailand. Thailand’s warm, dry winters and hot, wet summers are ideal for growing high quality coffee. The coffee grown on these farms are often naturally shaded by banana, mango and other fruit trees influencing the coffees flavor, eliminating much of the acidity and bitterness normally found with most coffees.

I could really taste the difference – it was great coffee! But what makes The Exotic Bean stand out above all others, is not just the coffee. It is also non GMO and the coffee bags are biodegradable. The owner’s spent time researching the type of bag that not only would keep the coffee in its freshest state, but good for the environment as well! 

The number one seller is the Organic Peaberry and that was my favorite too! Such a smooth, yet full bodied coffee that I know it would taste great no matter how you brew it. With hints of citrus & baker’s chocolate, it has a smooth rich body in every sip. This is one of my favorite coffees to drink first thing in the morning.

I highly recommend this coffee. The coffee just tastes differently than any other coffee I have enjoyed. The kind of coffee you remember and when you finish the bag, thirsty for more.
