Trummer’s Coffee | Wine Bar ★★★

A cute chalkboard sign greeted me.

img_0707-1I wasn’t sure what to expect, I had never seen a coffee and wine bar merged together in a cafe. Little did I know that I was about to be educated in Austrian Coffee culture.

The place is beautiful, yet small in size. Mirrors are used for menu boards and a stunning wrap around bar is the center of this cafe. As I was taking it all in, the large coffee siphon sitting on the counter caught my eye. It was THEN I realized this was more than just an owner that had merged two beverages together, there was a knowledge of coffee here.

The one owner I talked with, spoke of her son and Austrian Coffee culture where all coffee shops serve coffee and spirits in very fancy places. People go in their best clothes to meet a friend over a cappuccino and a glass of wine, it is all a very fancy occasion.

The coffee was great and this place still intrigues me, I want to return. I want to experience the fancy Austraian coffee lifestyle, where I dress up to enjoy a cup of coffee. This a place you should check out for sure and plan to stay a while  – its a beautiful spot!

  1. I went here about six months ago. when I don’t know what to get I ask the barista what they would get if they were me. usually this plan pans out. It totally did this time. I enjoyed the cinnamon bun latte w/ soy. I don’t remember seeing it on their menu but it should be! yummmmm!
